Margaret Ann “Peggy” Draper

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Draper

1946 – 2023

Margaret Ann (Peggy) Draper went to be with her heavenly father on July 26th, 2023, after a brief battle with Cancer. She was 77. Peggy was born on January 13th, 1946, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She lived in her younger years in Britton, Oklahoma with her parents, brothers and sister, then lived the rest of her life in Oklahoma City and Edmond, Oklahoma.  Peggy graduated from Harding High School and went on to work in Customer Service, Management and then Healthcare.

Peggy was a devoted Christian. She attended church as much as she could until she was physically unable and then attended via online services. If you knew Peggy, you knew a person who embodied what it meant to be a Christian. She loved her family and spent a lifetime taking care of others. It was who she was. She was deeply devoted to her dogs and was the best dog-mom there ever was. She was a kind, compassionate, and gentle soul who gave nothing but love to those who were blessed to be part of her world. She was just a beautiful human, and she will be ever so deeply missed.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Esta Draper, and brothers Tom and Glen Draper. She is survived by her sister Kay (John); sister-in-law Gayle (Tom), nephews Ken, Bryan, Michael, David, Kyle and Don; nieces Kelly and Trisha as well as multiple great and great-great nephews and nieces, extended family and lifelong friends.

Forever in our hearts.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made in Peggy’s name to the Oklahoma Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
