  1. Ellen was an exceptional woman, Mother and friend. She had taken piano lessons from VAN CLIBURN’S MOTHER early in her teen years…she LOVED MUSIC……she had four successful children, 3 girls, 1 boy…..they lived in several places in the USA and overseas in Germany due to her Husband’s Military career and made the most of every location…taking the children to many museums, and places of interest while they were growing up.
I met her through Newcomers and Bridge. She was very friendly, having moved around a lot and knew the value of friends…..she was a great bridge player and enjoyed social bridge as well as Duplicate bridge which is a more serious game. She traveled to far away places and in her later years, traveled to SOUTH KOREA and to THE COUNTRY OF GEORGIA where her son married, lived and added three grandchildren to the family.
She worked at CHANNEL NINE TELEVISION STATION after moving to Edmond/Oklahoma City which was always interesting.
I shall miss Ellen…..her music, her family and her stories.
