Luise J. Killian

1937-2021

Luise J. Killian passed away on July 18, 2021. She was born in Leipheim, Germany to Otto Ruoff and Maria Ruoff (Mayer). She was educated in Germany and France. Luise married the love of her life Wm. David Killian in 1962 at the Good Shepherd Church in Midwest City. They enjoyed 58 precious, adventurous, and loving years together.

She worked for Prudential Insurance in the Mortgage Department and for Fireman’s Fund as a Material Damage Analyst. She enjoyed playing tennis and later in life took up the challenge of golf. Before Covid-19, she looked forward to having lunch with Margaritas, the Cleos, her German-Bridge-, Townhall- and Revidere Book Club friends.

Luise was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Manfred Ruoff. She is survived by her husband Wm. David Killian, her nephew, Bernhard Ruoff (wife Christine), sister-in-law Marlene Ruoff and many treasured friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard but always near. And a special thanks to the loving support of the Schick family and also the special care of Connie with Good Shepherd Hospice and their entire staff.
