Lucille Jeannette Olson Hartz of Edmond, OK died on March 26, 2016 with her family at her bedside. Lucille was born in Hebron, Nebraska. She was the second child of Walter and Helen Olson. The family moved to Hughesville, Missouri where she graduated from high school. She married her husband, Leon Hartz who preceded her in death and spent most of their 54 years of marriage in Tulsa, Oklahoma.. Though, Lucille was primarily a housewife she enjoyed being creative and inventive. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She was remembered fondly by her friends and family for her compassion.
Lucille is survived by her daughters, Linda (Mark) Christian of OKC and Sandy (Sam) Moore of Edmond, OK. Her grandchildren: Scott Christian of West Palm Beach, Florida, Leslie and Kyle Moore of Edmond. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at the Matthews Funeral home in Edmond on Saturday, April 2nd at 10 am. Graveside service will be held later in Tulsa at Memorial Park Cemetery at 3pm on Saturday. In remembrance of Lucille, pass her legacy on by doing something nice for someone else.
