1930-2019
Lucille C. Kilbourn, 88, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed peacefully on June 17, 2019. She was born in 1930 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Portuguese immigrants.
Lucille was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Lee Kilbourn. She is survived by daughter Linda Kilbourn-Durham, sons Robert and Larry, grand-children Anthony, Lisa, Sarah, Brianna, and Matthew, and great grand-children Elijah, Chloe, Sadie, Dahlia, Lena and Samuel. Lucille was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother.
Lucille was a talented homemaker, a remarkable cook and enjoyed arts, crafts and oil painting. She had a heart for children and was an active sponsor of “Feed The Children”. In her spare time Lucille could always be found in her craft room working diligently on her next project. Lucille also enjoyed watching sports and traveling the country with her husband Lee by her side.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days. For those who have known Lucille in her fruitful journey with us, her services will be held at Matthew Funeral Home at 10:00 am Friday, June 21, 2019. A public visitation will be held from 12 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 20th, with a formal visitation from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Donations to Alzheimer’s Foundation in her honor.
