November 15, 1928 – September 30, 2014

Lucile Mae Kettner, born November 15, 1928 to Fredrich J. and Minnie (Koenemann) Vogts. She was one of 8 children. She married Clarence Kettner on February 11, 1951 and they were blessed with three boys, Steven, Stuart and Scott.
Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence (December 27, 1970), 2 brothers (Raymond & Floyd) and 3 sisters, (Frances, Leona and Adeline), daughter-in-law Jeany Kettner (March 14, 2003), son Stuart Brent Kettner (February 4, 2008) and grandson Bradley Charles Kettner (September 26, 2009). Survivors include, sons, Steven Kettner and wife Marilynn, and Scott Kettner and his wife Sherry. Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren include, Carson & Brande Kettner and their son Cale; Kristopher & Kate Kettner; Mat & Stacy(Kettner) Charnay; Brian Kettner, Celeste and their sons Braxtyn and Caisyn; Shawn & Laura Kettner and their sons Nicholas and Jace; Jamie Kettner and Jennifer Kettner. Two sisters, Florence Calder & Agnes Calhoun and many more relatives and friends.
Lucile was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all. She was an active member at St Mark Lutheran Church, faithfully attending all church functions as she was able. Clarence and Lucile began their family in Emporia, Kansas and then moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 1968. Clarence and Lucile both worked for Braum’s. Lucile continued to work for Braum’s until she retired. She spent her time sewing, gardening and making the grandkids favorite homemade noodles for all the holidays.
Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday October 4, 2014 at St. Mark Lutheran Church with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Lucile was a very kind person. I worked with her at Braum’s on Boulavard in Edmond, my first job. She would go out of her way to help in any way! She will be missed!!
