Loney Ray Krumm

1944 – 2025

Loney Ray Krumm, 81, passed away on April 28, 2025, surrounded by the love and care of his immediate family.

Loney was born February 5, 1944, in Leavenworth, Kansas to Fred and Gertrude Krumm. He was raised in nearby Lansing, Kansas where he graduated from Lansing High School in 1962.  In 1970, he married the love of his life, Martha. They were planning to celebrate their 55th anniversary later this year.

Loney is survived by his wife, their daughter, Michelle and her partner Nathan Howard. Also, grandson Cameron McMillan, sister Colita “Connie” Barnett, son from a previous marriage, Patrick Magee and “additional daughter” Chestina Thompson. In addition, his lifelong best friend, Dennis “Den” Vaught and extended family and friends. His parents and his brothers, Charles and Donald, preceded him in death.

From 1964 to 1984, Loney worked as a Supervising Computer Technician at Ft. Leavenworth. In 1984 he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Technology and was hired by DataGraphix / Anacomp in Kansas City. In 1988, they relocated him to  Oklahoma City. He worked for them until 1994 when he opened his own business, K&M Automotive.

Loney was known to his friends and customers as a master mechanic. If it had wheels and an engine, he could repair it and make it go faster. He loved to travel with his wife throughout the country on a pair of customized Honda Goldwing motorcycles “trikes.”

Special thanks to Choice Home Health and Hospice employees Randy Keeton, LPN and Jenny Hedglen, RN for their compassion and care.

A Celebration of Life for Loney is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 19, 2025, at the family home
