Linda Jeanne Erickson
1948 – 2023
Linda Jeanne Erickson peacefully passed away at home on June 2, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Linda was born on November 3, 1948 to Clinton (CB) and Bobbie (Jolley) Hester in Dallas, TX. She attended W.W. Samuel High School in Pleasant Grove, graduating in 1966, thus being known as a Grove Rat. After high school, Linda attended El Centro College in Dallas, receiving an accounting degree. She held various accounting positions with a number of companies in the Dallas area finally spending the last 22 years at INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City, OK.
Linda married and had two children, Ben and Vanessa. Later, she was blessed with four grandsons, Cayden, Eric, Phoenix and Collin with whom she enjoyed attending many of their sporting activities.
Linda enjoyed bowling, crocheting and painting. Known for her unselfishness, she volunteered her time at Stanley Hupfeld Academy, the Oklahoma City Civic Center and the state fair park.
Linda was proceeded in death by her parents and two brothers Bob and Randy. She is survived by her husband, Brian, of 35 years, son, daughter and four grandsons. She will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a cancer institute of your choice.
Public visitation will be held Friday, June 9th, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home.
Services will be held Saturday, June 10th, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Interment is to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Linda was special! I always enjoyed volunteering with her.
We will miss Linda so much, loved our time together which was not enough but we lived in different states.
She was extremely kind, smart and loving to her family and friends. She was so proud of her kids and those grandkids she loved so much.
