May 21, 1927 – April 13, 2025
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of an incredible Son, Brother, and Uncle. A man who touched countless lives with his warmth, generosity and unwavering love. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make everyone feel welcome. We will forever cherish his memory.
He served in World War II and the Korean War. He was brave and unwavering in his commitment and has a resilient human spirit.
His beloved wife of 62 years, Mary, preceded him in death. He is survived by his Sister, Hazel Russell; Nieces, Kathryn Treadaway and husband Danny, Cheryl Lewis and Dorothy Lewis; Nephews, Mark and Dale Wood.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel with interment held at 1:00 on Friday, April 18th at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton, Oklahoma.
