Larry Dean Watson born June 20, 1959 in Edmond, Ok to Ernest Lee Watson and Bennie Jo Watson passed away peacefully in his home September 4, 2017. Larry will be remembered as a father, papa, loving husband, brother, friend, mechanic, musician, and comedian. He had five beautiful daughters (Jenifer, Jessica, Jamie, Christal and stepdaughter Shannon), and one stepson (Justin), that he loved with all his heart and soul. His greatest joy was being blessed with eight grandchildren. Larry spent 26 wonderful years with wife Cheri. He is one of six children, three brothers and two sisters. Larry made his living as a diesel mechanic like his father and brothers. He was a good humored man always quick with a joke. He made many friends along the way. He was a gifted musician had a passion for the acoustic guitar and could play any string instrument with skill.

He was preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his wife Cheri, daughter Jenifer and husband Ryan Eccles of Choctaw, OK; daughter Jessica and husband John Mchone, of Edmond, OK; daughter Jamie and husband Joshua Egerer, of Cashion, OK; Christal Whittington, of Elkridge, MD; stepson Justin Payne and fiance Christina Janetic, of Oklahoma City, OK;  and stepdaughter Shannon and husband Patrick Pearson of Oklahoma City, OK, granddaughters Landyn, Jaylee, Korban, Hannah, and Logan, grandsons Noah, Sawyer, and Wyatt; brother Ernie and wife Janice of Edmond, OK; sister Joyce and husband Russell Gazaway of Edmond, OK; brother DJ and wife Kathy of Edmond, OK;  sister Marcia of Edmond, OK; and brother Kelley of Edmond, OK; five nieces, six nephews,  and several great nieces and nephews. Along with countless friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8,2017 at Matthews Funeral Home.

    I will always remember Larry with a smile and cracking a joke. I will cherish all the memories I have spent with the entire family. His greatest legacy is the wonderful dad that he was.
