Kevin William Chrisman

1991 – 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kevin. He left us far too soon at the age of 34. His kind soul, warm smile, sweet dimples, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew him.

Born at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Kevin had a love for the outdoors—whether he was fishing with his dad or canoeing on the Illinois. He was also a passionate gamer and anime enthusiast, finding joy in virtual worlds, building Japanese manga characters, and attending Anime-Fests.

But more than anything, Kevin will be remembered for his kindness. He listened more than he spoke and deeply loved his family and group of friends.

He leaves behind a family who adored him: His parents Brad & Brenda Chrisman of Edmond, OK, his sister Andrea Chrisman of Oklahoma City, OK. Along with many friends who became chosen family over the years including his Auntie Cathy and Jim Cashatt of Dayton, OH, who were like a second set of parents, and his best friend Patric Wilson. He is also survived by his Uncle David Johnson, Daryl, and his wife Sandy Johnson of Stilwell, OK and his aunt Lori and her husband, Bruce Hall of Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lee and Juanita Johnson and William and Luella Chrisman.

Public visitation will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma with family present to greet friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at North Church, 1601 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73134. Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.
