Dear Bing,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of both Keith and Sandy. I have been trying to track Keith down for many years now, but apparently he had lost track of all of his old fraternity brothers. No surprise there – I scattered all the way to Tennessee.
He had a very, very sweet soul, and was one of my very best friends at PiKA. I just wish that I had been able to track him down before his passing.
With all my best wishes, and with a very heavy heart,
There just aren’t enough words to say what is in my heart. Keith changed my life. He loved me, he cared about me and was always there to come to my rescue.
He had the best heart, the most beautiful face, unbelievable laugh; you just were always happy when you were with him.
He held my hand and walked me through the toughest part of my life to date
If only he would have listened, believed how much he was loved and wanted.
Always he will be “baby Crosby” to me and always he will live in my heart.
I love you Bing and Laura and am so thankful God gave all 3 of you to me.
Your sweet son will always hold a place in my heart for all the caring and love
he shared for so many years with my precious daughter, just as you have also
done.
May God give you peace and comfort you at this sad time and in all the days to follow.
Dear Crosby Family,
I’m sorry for your loss. Nothing can really fully prepare us for the loss of a loved one. Whatever the case, the pain of death cannot be eluded, and its finality can be devastating. I’d like to share a few bible texts that have helped me with coping with the loss of a loved one. Isaiah 25:8,9 reads: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord will certainly wipe the tears from all faces….And in that day one will certainly say: Look! This is our god. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. this is the LORD . we have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice the salvation by him”. Furthermore, Revelation 21:4 reads: “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more”. Some ask: “If a man dies, can he live again?” “When will the dead arise?” Did you know that Daniel 12;2 reads: “Many of those asleep in the dust of the earth will wake up”. I hope these scriptures have given you some comfort and my condolences again.
