Kathryn Fleming passed away on April 6, 2017. She was born July 8, 1924 to James J. and Stella (Pechacek) Wanek in Sylvan Grove, KS. Kathryn was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed decorating, bowling, and crafts. She was an accomplished seamstress, and worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” at the Boeing plant in Wichita during WWII.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, F.P. Fleming.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Braun of Grand Junction, CO, Pam Fleming of Mesquite, TX, and Craig Fleming of Houston, TX; Sisters, Carrol Hochman of Edmond, OK, and Patricia Rippens of Scottsdale, AZ; and grandchildren, Cody Braun of Edmond, OK; and Jessica Fleming of Oklahoma City, OK.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, April 8th, and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with Family receiving friends 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 9th. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 10th, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.
