Karla Joyce Taylor
1946-2016
Karla Joyce (Hardridge) Taylor, 70, of Broken Arrow, Okla. Passed away peacefully on January 2, 2017. She was born on January 17, 1946 in Greenville, Texas to Charles and Jessie Hardridge. Karla is preceded in death by her husband Gary L. Taylor. She is survived by her son Dean Taylor; Son Glenn and wife Jamie Taylor; Grandchildren Abby and Jackson Taylor, Brother Randy Hardridge and wife Janet, many nieces, nephews, family members and lifelong friends.
Services are 12:30 p.m. Monday January 9, 2017 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond.
So so sorry to read of the loss of your Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt. Karla and I spent many hours at Zumba classes at the Curves in Broken Arrow. We also enjoyed the occasional breakfast with other Zumba class members. She was helpful to me as I went through a 2nd round of breast cancer. Such a good listener….and she could always make me laugh. She leaves behind lots and lots of wonderful memories.
I have so many wonderful memories with Karla. She was always one to make a smile come to your heart. I am sorry for the loss of your sweet Karla.
We loved Karla at Curves! I enjoyed her zeal for life. She Always had a smile and uplifting word. Many sweat filled hours shaking our Zumba and talking food while strengthening our muscles. Wonderful memories……
