1967-2019
Julie Ann Tudor was born November 27, 1967, to Boyd and Gay (Abston) Tudor. She passed away on March 28, 2019, after living 34 of her years with the progressive effects of multiple sclerosis. Julie graduated from Moore High School in 1986 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Abilene Christian University in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
After graduation, Julie was employed as a social worker by the Abilene State School, a residential facility for persons with developmental disabilities, from 1991 through 1997, when her health issues took her out of the work force. She then moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, until 2010 when she moved to Tuscany Village Nursing Center.
Julie had a great wit, and was always ready with a good comeback. Even after she lost her ability to speak, she could make people laugh with a roll of her eyes. She loved dogs, pandas, and purple. Her attitude and courage were an inspiration to all those who knew her and to many she had never met. As a faithful Christian, Julie trusted in God’s provision for her life.
Julie is survived by her parents, her sister Joy and brother-in-law Richard Neel, her nephews Ethan Neel and Eric Neel, and extended family whom she loved and who loved her.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 6, at 2:00 at New Hope Church of Christ, 700 W 2nd, Edmond, under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home. The family suggests Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence, or Cross and Crown Mission, 1008 N McKinley, Oklahoma City, for anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution.
My deepest condolences to you all. Julie was an amazing woman of God and has now gone to live with our Heavenly King!
My prayers are that you find comfort in her memories.

So sorry to hear about Julie’s passing. We remember her as the little girl next door with the squeaky tricycle. Always a joy to be around. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
Thank you so much. We have lots of good memories of your family.
So sorry for your loss. We know that the scriptures state, “Blessed are those that die in the Lord.” We take great solace in those words. Boyd and Gay we would like to see you. We are living in Stillwater now to be close to our daughter, Son-in-law and our two precious grandsons. Lean on the Lord. We know he cares and will comfort you both.
