Judieth “Judi” Ann Felker

Judi closed her beautiful blue eyes for the final time on October 30, 2023.

She was born in Williams, OK the third of three children, to L. T. Harrison and Edith Walker Harrison. She spent her early years around Williams and the Poteau areas. She also lived for a brief time in Louisiana. The family then settled in Tulsa. Judi attended East Central Highschool in Tulsa and graduated in 1962, where she was a cheerleader and football princess. Shortly afterwards, she was hired by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for a position in their accounting department. She held a variety of positions, and it was there she met her husband Ken. They were married in Corpus Christi, TX on September 25, 1972. In 1975, the Tulsa accounting department was closed and they were transferred to Oklahoma City. Judi held several jobs in data processing and was always a valuable employee with the highest performance ratings. In 1992, she retired from Southwestern Bell. She loved retirement. Judi liked online shopping, reading and trying new recipes. She was also a big OU fan and was a season ticket holder in football and basketball for several years. The annual trip to Dallas for the OU-Texas game was a highlight for her. In later years, she became an ardent OU softball fan. She also enjoyed watching professional golf, as long as Jordan Spieth was playing. She loved Christmas and decorated her home beautifully. Most of all, Judi loved preparing holiday meals for family. She always made sure she prepared enough for lots of take-home for her guests. One relative described it as “Judi food. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ron Harrison and her sister Linda Lowman. She was also preceded by her step-daughter Michelle Felker. In addition, waiting in heaven to greet her are her precious dogs, Beau-Beau, Toby and Riley. Judi is survived by her loving husband Ken of the home; her stepson Todd Felker and his wife Judith Sekler of Sherman Oaks, CA; her nephew Jeff Lowman and niece Dana McElroy, both of Tulsa; and her niece Ronna Parchman of Centre Hall, PA. She was also blessed to have a group of special cousins: Sharon Gentry and Paula Gentry of Bethany; Van and Diane Cline of Norman; Vivian and Dr. Gary Nida of Oklahoma City; and Nelda and Don Shaw of Idabel. She also had many dear friends who loved her and mourn her passing deeply.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Free to Live Animal Sanctuary, 9150 S. Western Ave., Guthrie, OK 73044, or freetolive.org.

Services will be held Monday, November 6, 2023, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held Monday, November 6, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
