Juanita Mae Seeger

1933-2023
Monday, November 13, 2023 our energizer bunny, who just keeps going, has gone home, after reaching her milestone of 90 years!
Juanita Mae, has been called home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you knew her, you knew she loved Jesus picking up her cross daily to follow Him. She has run her race and gone home to His Loving Embrace.
Born January 15, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Christian parents Dwight George and Betty Mable (Hampton) Gardner. She was the youngest of their 5 children, 2 of who died in infancy.
In her youth she professed her love of Christ and was a Baptized member of The Disciples of Christ Church. She was active in the youth group Chi-Rho and at one time held office as president. When she was in high school, her family relocated from Tulsa to OKC. She graduated from Classen High School in 1951. She met her love and future husband David Henry Seeger, on a double date, they were married November 15, 1952 and to their union 5 children were born Steve, Karl, Ann, Betty and Janice.
Primarily a homemaker, she was a joy to her family in many ways. She was a boy scout den mother. She was also a troop leader for girl scouts & campfire girls. She happily imparted all of her camping skills and craft making knowledge frequently in all things she did with music in her heart and a song on her lips. No road trip out of state was complete without spontaneously and joyously belting out the song OKLAHOMA as we crossed the state line!
She will be remembered for her love of Jesus, zeal for life and the cross she bore so valiantly regarding her medical conditions.
Preceding her in death, her parents, Dwight and Betty. siblings; Arthur, Louise, Walter and Donald. Her loving spouse David and infant son Karl.
She is survived by Steve (Barbara) Seeger, Ann Morgan, Betty Seeger, Janice (Kayvon) Sedghi. 6 Grandchildren; Eric (Heather) Seeger, Brian Sedghi, Megan Sedghi, Juli Morgan, Jeff (Grace) Sedghi, Sean Sedghi. 3 Great Granddaughters Ella, Mia, and Margaret.
