Joseph Charles Lovell, Jr.
1944 – 2024
Joseph Charles Lovell, Jr. was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Charles and Vernece Lovell on October 22, 1944. He attended school in a two room country school through seventh grade before the family moved into Noble, OK. Joe graduated from Noble High School in 1962 then joined the U.S. Army of which he was proud to serve.
After the Army, he reconnected with Pam, a life-long friend, and they were married on June 2, 1972 in the church in which they grew up.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Vernece Lovell, sister Mary Kersey, brother-in-law Gerald Kersey, brother Bill Lovell, sister-in-law Carol Lovell, brothers-in-law Newell Jett and Jim Rosso, nieces Melanie Peck and Michelle Kersey.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Pam; children and their spouses Kristi (Rob Huff) of Gardner, KS; Adam (Caitlin) of Bloomington, IL; Heidi (Chris Osborn) of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters Martha Jett of Missouri and Pam Rosso of Texas; bright spots in his life grandchildren Cody, William, Ashlyn, Kayelynne, Zoeii and Anna; several nephews, nieces, and a host of loving friends.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 305 E Hurd St, Edmond, OK 73034.

Pam and Family – You are all in my thoughts and prayers. The Lovell family was a big part of my growing up life. We made a lot of fond memories at our rural school and long lasting friendships. Love and Hugs
