John and Marietta were the first people we met after moving to Edmond in 1974. We were neighbors for many years and formed a lasting friendship. Our youngest daughter was 4 when she met John and she considered him to be her grandfather. She loved spending time with Mr. & Mrs. Stone. Marietta always had home baked cookies on hand and John would play games with her. One of my favorite pictures of John is him on the floor with Andi playing with a castle she got for her birthday. Wonderful family man and always a gentleman. Rest In Peace, Mr. Stone! We loved you very much.
