John R. Peshek

Born in Calumet, MI June 10, 1958. Passed away Edmond, OK April 19, 2017. John was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin as well as dedicated friend to all who took the time to know him. John completed Menominee Intermediate School. He considered himself retired with his parents spending 6 months of the year in Menominee, MI & 6 months of the year in Kissimmee, FL. The last 22 chapters read out in Edmond, OK with his sister & brother in law enjoying life to it’s fullest. He was a shy gentle spirit with a quick wit, stickler for timeliness, inquisitive, brilliant, and just a little bossy. A true spirit of forever kindness. His favorite pastimes being Friday night bowling, Saturday movie outings, music, TV, concerts, his many pets, soda pop, M&M’s & going out to eat with friends. He loved deeply & unconditionally with his life being lived outside the perceived norm of society. Thank you to all that were part of his journey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anton & Elma (Kolehmainen) Peshek. He is survived by immediate family: Brother, Charles Peshek & wife Debbie of Orlando, FL. Sister Barbara Story & husband Jim of Edmond, OK and nephew Greg Peshek of Chicago, IL as well as numerous close family friends. Memorial Service to be held at The Fountains at Canterbury, Town Center One building, in Oklahoma City on Friday June 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
