1954-2016
John “Larry” Lawrence Hayman died on 13 Dec 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 62. He is survived by his daughter, Shanna Molina as well as his siblings, Ruth Ann May, Lee Hayman, Carol Demoret, his niece, Jessica Boyce, and numerous other nephews/nieces and cousins. He was born on 3 Nov 1954 in Oklahoma City, OK to Roy and Helen Hayman who both preceded him in death. Over the course of his life, he resided in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas before settling in Edmond, OK. He was a reserved man with an enthusiasm for music of all kinds from rockabilly and blues to psychedelic and country. He was a drummer who felt most connected to other people when playing his drums whether jamming with a small group of friends or performing for a crowd in one of his bands. While his favorite artist was Elvis, he could appreciate and dialogue about all of his beloved genres endlessly with those who shared his passion. He loved animals of all kinds—cats, dogs, birds, and snakes. Many family dogs and one pet crow will happily greet him upon his arrival in heaven. “Larry” was greatly loved and will be missed.
