John E. “Jack” Cochrane, Sr.

1929-2014

John E. (Jack) Cochrane died June 9, 2014. He was born to Edgar and Helen Cochrane June 9, 1929 in Highland Park, Michigan.

Jack spent 6 years as a truck mechanic in the US Air Force (1947-1954) and 29 years as a statistician for the US Department of Agriculture. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Bonnie Jean Wells and Grace Appell.

His survivors include, wife Pauline (Polly) Cochrane; 2 sons, John Cochrane, Jr. and wife Lisa, David Cochrane and wife Trudy; Stepson, L.D. Loftis and wife Dian; Stepdaughter, Janay Curtis; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Matthews Funeral Home 8 am to 8 pm Wednesday June 11, 2014.   A graveside service will be 2PM Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Oklahoma.
