She was the leader of a girl’s group that participated in learning and social activities. She was involved at her church, serving as coordinator for mobile meals, and on the social ministries board. She also enjoyed her time volunteering as a school library and teaching assistant.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, she was also a talented painter. She had a passion for antiques. She enjoyed spending her time with family vacationing in Colorado, attending concerts, music festivals and auto races.
Joan is preceded in death by her mother, father and husband. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly, sister Diane, and nieces and nephews.
