Jerry was born on September 20, 1934 in Britton, OK to Mike and Margaret Zielny. She graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School, OKC in 1951 as the second graduating class in the newly formed school.

Jerry worked as a Library Technician at the University of Central Oklahoma prior to retiring. She was known for her administrative skills and attention to details in the positions she held. Jerry enjoyed dancing, needle work, crafting and attending antique and craft shows.  Jerry’s nieces and nephews enjoyed her Christmas fudge for many years. As children we remembered the box with the uniformly cut fudge squares that would appear in season.

A special thanks to Companion at Home providing skilled companions for Jerry’s care and family advisement. The family also appreciates the attention provided to Jerry’s care by Marlene Maker who was part of her life for the past three years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, Claudine, Buddy, Joyce and William. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
