Jeffery A. WilliamsWilliams, Jeff

1955-2017

Jeffery Allan “Jeff” Williams, 62, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on September 20, 2017, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by members of his loving family.

Jeff was born March 30, 1955, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to the late James E. Williams, Sr. and Juanita Krigbaum Williams. At the age of three, he moved with his family to El Paso, TX, the place he always considered to be where he grew up. In 1968, the family returned to Oklahoma, living in the city of Bethany where Jeff attended Putnam West High School. After graduating in 1973 Jeff worked in a variety of jobs, including the Amarillo gas utility and Time Tool and Equipment Rental of Edmond, but he was always destined to be his own boss. In 1994, he co-founded Metro Property Contractors, Inc. of Edmond and was co-owner at the time of his death. Jeff married the love of his life, Tanya, on January 30, 1977 with whom he had two children, Sarah Hallmark (husband Aaron), of Edmond, OK, and Caleb Williams, Oklahoma City, OK.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya, his children, two grandchildren, AJ Hallmark and Ella Hallmark, a brother, James E. Williams, Jr. (wife Kaye), of Oklahoma City, a sister, Alice R. Tullis (husband KJ) of Yukon, OK, nieces Lisa Carr, Lori McCormack, Patricia Tullis, nephew Ryan Williams, and a host of relatives, friends, and acquaintances. Jeff was a kind, generous person who will be terribly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, September 26, at Matthews Funeral Home, 601 S. Kelly Ave, Edmond, OK. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hope Center of Edmond or the University of Texas football program.

Tanya, please accept my deepest sympathy. My heart goes out to you and your family. I know how I felt when I lost Rodger 10 years ago with lunch cancer. One doesn’t understand unless they have lost a husband. May God hold you in his hand and carry you through the next few days. All my love, Ann Robinson Bowman

    1. Thank you Ann. As I said to Paula earlier.. you girls are my mothers and sisters. You all have loved me, encouraged me, and supported me all of my adult life. You have seen the good, bad, and ugly and never gave up on me. Thank you. I love you.

  2. My dear, dear nephew, Jeff. How we all loved him. He was a prince of a man. We will all miss him deeply?
Tonya, I’m still praying for you and all the family!

  3. Tanya, Sarah & Caleb,
I have nothing but good memories about Jeff and times spent with your family. He was comfortable to be around and always had a smile for you. While I know you have a hole in your hearts, just try to fill it with all the loving moments you shared together.
    Much Love ?
    Pris
