Janelle was an inspiration to all who knew her. Even through this last year of so much difficulty, every time I visited with her she was always positive and appreciative for the smallest of kindness. She will be sorely missed by all who called her “friend.”

There isn’t enough room on here to say how much love I have for Janelle or how much she’s meant to me. We’ve been hanging out since we were 10 years old when her family started coming to our church. The memories are endless and I thank God for them!

Janelle holds such a special place in my heart as Brayden’s “second mom”. She always loved and accepted him as one of her own. Words cannot express how much that means to me. She is a true light that will continue shining in the lives of her kids. Praying God wraps you in his comfort and peace.

We spent many Sundays looking forward to sitting in church with Janelle and her family. She always had a kind word, a warm smile, and such a positive outlook. She was definitely a bright light in our church. We are so thankful that she was a prayer and support person for us as we went through EE class. We will miss her so much. We pray that her family will find comfort in knowing that she walks with Jesus today.

Janelle was such an important part of my adolescence when my family moved to Waterloo in 1977. She was so much fun to spend time with and a lovely and kind person. I remember so many enjoyable Sunday nights at Pizza Planet and cruising Broadway in Edmond. My deepest condolences to Reta, Matt, their children and the rest of her family. I’m sure Janelle and Gary are smiling at you from Heaven.
