James Loewen Best Senior, age 76 died at Southpointe Nursing Home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday, April 30 around 6:30pm; the cause congestive heart failure.
Born January 3, 1939 in Lawton, Oklahoma, he grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma and then settled in Edmond, Oklahoma. He established and worked at Best Plumbing until retiring in the early 90’s.
Survivors include his two sons; James Loewen Best II, with wife Dana and daughter Bayleigh Best, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Rance Everett Best with wife Margaret and children Hartley, Caroline, Harrison, and George of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Loewen was preceded in death by his father and mother, B.C. and Betty Best. Daughter Beth Best and brother Gary Best.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel.
