This was sad news for me. I haven’t heard from Jimmy since he retired from the Ontario Police Dept. several years ago. We enjoyed deep sea fishing numerous time when officers went on a chartered boat out of Ventura, Ca. in the Pacific. Jim was outstanding in his police work, especially in narcotics. Give his family our love and
condolences.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. As a teenager I remember Jim as a neighbor, living the next street over. During his time with Barstow and Ontario PD’s we would run into each other. I always liked and respected him. The last time I saw Jim, he and I rode our motorcycles from Big Bear, CA. back down into the desert following an SBSO Sheriff’s Ride. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. God speed Jim.
My deepest condolence goes out to the Harris family.
I remember Jim as neighbor and also during his years with the Barstow Police Department.
Jim and I had worked a few cases together and he was an outstanding investigator.
Keep the wonderful memories of Jim that you cherish close to your heart’s and he will be with you for ever.
