James “Jim” F. Majors, III, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2020. He was the husband of Dolly M. Majors for 43 years.

Jim was born August 13, 1917, in Hartshorne, OK. He was the son of Lilly and James F. Majors, II. Jim was a carpenter and local butcher in Edmond all of his adult life and owned “Majors Country Home Meat Co.”

He is survived by his wife, Dolly, his sister, Fontella, 4 step children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his two sons, James F. Majors, IV and Michael A. Majors.

He will always be remembered with love by all who knew him.

A public visitation will be held at Matthews funeral Home on Monday, March 16 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday March 17 from  10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.

    1. This is Jim majors. He and Norma divorced over 50 years ago. Jim and Dolly have been married 43 years.
