James Clark, 86, from Midwest City, OK went to be with our Heavenly Father on December 30, 2021. He was the son of Oscar and Macy Clark and was raised in Illinois. James was preceded in death by his siblings, Nobel, Carl, Helen and Gladys, his wife, Tachiyo and his granddaughter Taylor. He is survived by his daughter, Jina, son- in- law, John and grandchildren, Madison, Kennedy, Harrison, Keyton, Reno and one great grandchild, Hazel. James graduated from high school and worked for one year near Chicago and belonged to the United Steel Workers Union. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1954 and served for 20 years and 6 months. He flew 113 missions as a Radio Intercept Operator on the EC-47 aircraft. Among the 11 Medals and service ribbons he earned, he was most proud of the 6 Air Medals and the Distinguished Flying Cross he earned for his support of the ground forces during Operation Pershing in 1967. He went on to get his degree in Business and Data Processing and worked for 20 years in civil service, completing over 40 years of government service. James enjoyed country music and dancing. He also enjoyed gardening and genealogy. He was a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
