Jackie Reynolds
1951-2015
Jacqueline (Jackie) Darlene Reynolds, 63, of Edmond, OK died on Jan. 17, 2015. She was born on March 4, 1951 in Hattiesburg, MS to parents, Robert and Barbara Crout. The oldest of four, she spent her childhood growing up across the United States until her family moved to Ponca City, OK in 1965. She attended Ponca City High School where she met her future husband, Dean Reynolds.
Jackie and Dean were married for 44 years and their life together would take them to Louisiana for a short time before spending 34 amazing years in Spring, TX where they raised their three children.
Whether in Spring or Edmond, Jackie was active in the United Methodist Women and most recently the Kickingbird and Fairfax Women’s Golf Associations as well as the Edmond Newcomers Club. God blessed Jackie with many creative talents including quilting, painting, gardening and cooking which she loved to share with family and friends.
Jackie was an avid reader with an unending curiosity and desire to learn. She especially enjoyed traveling and perfecting her golf game with her beloved husband Dean.
She is survived by her parents, Robert and Barbara Crout, husband, Dean, daughters Jana Vigil and Shawn Rodriguez, son, Greg Reynolds, siblings Mike Crout, Mary Schooley, Laura Zuber, granddaughters, Alexandria Vigil and Daren Rodriguez, and grandsons, Jesse Vigil and Paden, Jake, and Hank Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ruby Montague and Cavie Jewel Crout, grandfathers, Horace Francis Crout and JR (Bob) Montague, mother-in-law, Eula May Reynolds and father-in-law, Kenneth Reynolds.
