Jack R. Collins
1935-2018
Jack Rodgers Collins passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Jack was born September 15, 1935 to Willis and Maxine Collins, and passed away August 23, 2018. Jack served in the marines, and later owned Collins Well service. Jack loved his family and playing golf. After retirement Jack and Joyce enjoyed traveling throughout the United States.
He is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Jaunita Collins, wife Joyce, son Jay, grandson Joshua McCleery, and sister Sally.
Jack is survived by his daughter Jill McCleery and husband Jeff, grandson Jaycob, cousin Norma Jean Stoklaska, sister-in-law Pearl Hall, and brother-in-law Jerry Hall and wife Marilyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Warriors for Freedom Foundation.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday August 28th, at Matthews Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday August 29th, at Matthews Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.
