Dear Billie, Jo Ann and Jerry,

I was so sorry to see on the TG&Y reunion page on Facebook about J.L.’s passing. What a wonderful man he was and what a dear family you are and always were to me and my parents. I guess J.L. was about the last of our long-time TG&Y family and all of us kids who grew up in the 50s.

My deepest sympathy to you at this sad time. I know you will treasure your many wonderful memories just as I do. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you!

    Love, Janet

  4. I’m saddened by the passing of Mr. Price. He was a great role model for those of us who saw him live out his personal values as a Christian man, daily in his leadership position at TG&Y Stores. My condolences to his family.

  5. Mr. Price was a great Regional Vice President Florida Division. It was always a nice experience when he would come for a visit. I started in Inverness then moved around to Chiefland, Live Oak,Perry,Tallahassee St. Petersburg and finally Lutz. So I got to know and respect Mr Price very much.I don’t think I ever seen him angry. He will be missed
