Ida Elizabeth Barnett
April 15, 1923 – December 27, 2019
Ida Elizabeth (Betty) Barnett (Presnell) was preceeded in her journey home to be with her Lord and Savior by her husband, Roy L. Barnett; her parents, Martin A. and Cora L. (Miller) Presnell; her brothers, Frank Presnell, Howard Presnell, Hyder Presnell, and Edd Presnell; her sisters, Bertha Presnell Peterson, Violet Presnell Edwards, Yvonne Presnell Pusz, and Lydia Presnell Edwards.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna L. Miller Barnett; granddaughter, Candie Barnthouse (Miller) and Husband Tim; great grandson, Tabor C. Talley and wife Katrina (Betheau); great great-grandaughters, Zoey Elizabeth and Athena Grace Talley; sister Ruby Phillips (Presnell); sister-in-law, Shirley Wilson; life long dear friend, Bonnie Patt, and many loved and adored nieces and nephews.
Ida’s honorary pallbearers will be Duane Phillips, Michael Edwards, Darrell Presnell, Steve Edwards, Robert Harris, Ronaine Presnell, Greg Presnell, and Wade Peterson.
Ida was employed by Southern Pottery in Erwin, Tennessee and Bendix Radio in Baltimore, Maryland.
Viewing will be Sunday from 5 – 8 with the family greeting friends. Service will Monday, December 30 at 1 pm at Matthews Funeral Chapel.
