Vincent Kurt Felton

Vincent Kurt Felton

2020 – 2022

Vincent Kurt Felton was born on September 12, 2020, to Von and Sara Felton in Edmond, OK. He died peacefully in his crib on December 3, 2022.

Vincent was the light of his parent’s life and brought joy to all those that nurtured him in his short two years on earth. He had the most beautiful dimples and a giggle that was overly contagious. He was naturally curious about life and was determined to master all skills. His confidence and independence shined every time he tried to copy what was being done in front of him. He started walking at 10 months, and never slowed down once he took off. Vincent naturally followed in his dad’s footsteps with a love for motor vehicles. He loved to spend time in his dad’s shop, and recently started saying “nuts and bolts” when he was ready to go “work” with Dad. His favorite field trips were to construction sites and to Lowe’s.  He loved to have dance parties with Mom in the car and would always request “One more! One More!” song. He always wanted to cuddle with Mom in the early mornings and late evenings. He gave the best hugs and always listed out every person’s name he loved before bed. He enjoyed playing hide and seek, painting, and watching his favorite tv show Blippi and Meekah. As soon as he could turn the door knob he would request to go outside, regardless of the weather. His red wagon was always in tow and was never big enough for all his collected treasures. Mom would have to check his pockets before laundry as he was an avid collector of acorns, rocks, leaves, and bugs.

He attended Mrs. Dawn Sharp’s Mother’s Day Out Program and blossomed under her care and unwavering love. What started as a part time schooling program ended with Vincent gaining a third set of grandparents.  He was dearly loved by all his teachers including Mrs. Ann,  Miss Bailee, and Miss Quincee.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. Part of us went with you, the day God took you home.

Vincent is survived by his parents, Von Kurt Felton and Sara Michelle Budke Felton. His great grandparents John and Margie Budke, Maralene Balthazor, and Joann Felton. His grandparents Shelley Budke (GiGi), Richard Scherder (Papa), and Vernetta Felton (NeNe or NeeNaw). His uncles Alex Budke, Brett Budke, and Cole Miller. His aunts Corbin Miller, and Emily Budke. And his beloved dog, Moose (MeMe). Vincent is preceded in death by his grandparents Kurt Budke and Dan Felton, and great grandparents Arthur Balthazor, Bob Felton, Vernon and Hazel Taylor. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 10th at New Hope Church of Christ in Edmond beginning at 10:00 a.m.  with burial to follow at Arcadia IOOF Cemetery.
