Ronald “Ron” Earl Bragg
1936 – 2022
Ronald Earl Bragg was born on January 8, 1936, to David and Evelyn (Teeter) Bragg in Imboden, Arkansas. Shortly after his birth his family moved to Stanton, Missouri, where his father owned and operated Stanton Generator Service. Ron graduated from Sullivan High School where he was an award-winning trumpet player. He served four years in the United States Air Force, stationed in Chanute, Illinois. At an early age Ron developed a deep love for aviation which continued throughout his life and led to a career in aviation. Encouraged by his uncle Pat Teeter, a pilot, Ron obtained his private pilot certificate at the age of 16, followed by instrument, multi-engine, seaplane, glider, hot air balloon and airline transport ratings. One of the highlights of his life was flying the P-51 Mustang. Ron was also very proud of having earned his amateur radio license, call sign WB5HST. Ron was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration for 42 years where he rose to be the Section Manager of the Designated Pilot Examiner Section. On December 16, 1972, Ron married Vivian Palmer and to this union two sons were born. He was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ.
He leaves mourning his passing his wife, Vivian, of the home, his son Eric Bragg (Mary Lynn) of Edmond, his daughter Rhonda Schulte of Oklahoma City, his daughter Donna White Bertrem (Gary) of Oklahoma City, grandchildren Ryker, Deklan and Kassidy Bragg, Chris Schulte, Dustin White and Nickie Turner, his best buddy Max the dog, and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan.

Services are to be held Monday, April 18th, 2022, at New Hope Church of Christ, 700 W 2nd St, Edmond, OK 73003 beginning at 11:00AM. Interment is to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
