Richard Dean McCallum
1951 – 2022
Richard (Rick) Dean McCallum departed this life for his Heavenly Eternal Home on Monday, June 6, 2022. Richard was born on November 18, 1951, to Marvin and Louise McCallum in Enid, Oklahoma. Richard was the youngest child and deeply loved older sister Patricia and brother Michael. At age 13, Richard lost his dad, and his mother Louise would not remarry. Richard cared for his mother until her death in 2014.
Richard was an Air Force veteran during the Viet Nam War, attaining the rank of Sergeant as a meteorologist . He was proficient in mathematics and loved to read his Holy Bible. Richard was a faithful member of the Waterloo Road Baptist Church and was a choir member/active Sunday School attendant. He was employed at the University of Central Oklahoma in the Public Safety and Parking Enforcement unit, where he retired. Richard dutifully helped Louise in their large garden and was a clown in the children’s hospital network. He will be remembered for his humble disposition and twinkling, mischievous eyes.

Visitation will be Tuesday Evening from 1:00PM-8:00PM at the Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond. Memorial Services will be 10:00AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the Chapel of Waterloo Road Baptist Church.
