Nelda Sue Pace Wallace

Nelda Pace Wallace, 80, passed peacefully early Sunday morning, at Lyndale Senior Living, Edmond, OK. She was born March 23, 1942, to George Pace and Helen Pedersen Pace. Nelda graduated from Wichita South High School in 1960 and attended Wichita State University. Nelda married Kent Wallace. They were later divorced.
Nelda worked most of her adult life as she raised her two children, eventually working as an Assistant VP at Citizens Bank, Edmond. In 1996 she transitioned to work at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she was a Federal Student Loan Processor until her retirement in 2006. She was a long-time member of Peace Lutheran Church in Edmond, OK. She was also very involved with the Edmond Elks Lodge enjoying the many social and philanthropic activities there. Her favorite hobbies were spending time with her kids and grandkids, reading, playing on the computer, and playing cards (mostly Bridge and Pinochle).
Nelda is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Wallace Blosser and Brenda Wallace, her two grandchildren, Abby and Zane Blosser and their father Lendell Blosser, her sister Phyllis Pace Bradburn and her husband Wayne of Eagle, Idaho, as well a nephew and nieces and their families, Brent and Judie Winkler Bradburn, Teresa Bradburn and Kevin Wright, and Beth Bradburn Jameson and Chris Jameson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church in Edmond.
Visitation will take place from 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with family present to greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 E Danforth Rd, Edmond, OK 73034. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
