Michael Norman White
Michael Norman White, 74, died peacefully on December 25, 2022, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. He was born March 13, 1948, in Detroit Michigan, the son of Jack and Lillian White.
Growing up Michael was known as a natural athlete and conquered almost every sport. Michael graduated from Seminole High School, class of 1966. He was ready to continue on to his college career but was soon drafted and served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. After serving honorably in the army, he returned to college where he was an active student council president. While playing college basketball he saw the cheerleader that would soon become the love of his life, Kae Kutz. They were married on December 19, 1975. Michael had many successful years working in the oil field industry. During his retirement he decided to attain a master’s tdegree in Education and spend time with his wife volunteering and teaching geriatric students. Michael also enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and was a proud OU football sports fan and lifetime Sports Animal listener.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kae Kutz White and sister, Donna White. He will be missed by his son, Ted White, of Norman, OK. Son, Darren White, of Dallas, TX, and daughter, Kathy White of Edmond, OK, sister, Lee White of McAlester, OK, 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held 11 AM Friday, December 30 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 N. E. Jake Dunn Rd., Elgin, OK 73538.
