Mary Imogene Thomas
1946-2022
Mary Imogene Thomas, 75 of Cameron, Oklahoma was born on November 22, 1946 to Trible Preston and Dortha Louise (Goins) Odom. Mary was in the restaurant business most of her life having done everything necessary to run a successful business. Her first job was at the Wide-A-Wake Café in Edmond where she met her husband Stanley Gene Fitzgerald Sr. who precedes her in death. Mary later married Richard Thomas and he also precedes her in death. Mary passed away on July 13, 2022 in Poteau, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Tammie and Brett Lavoy of Sandwich, IL and her son, Stanley Gene Fitzgerald Jr. of Edmond. Also, her sister and brother-in-law, Diana Lynn and Andy Cox of Cameron, OK., brothers, Trible Elton Odom of Spiro, OK, Leon David Odom of Ada, OK., Stanley Aubrey Odom of Cameron, OK., Dale Roary and wife Carolyn Odom of South Carolina, William Burl Driver of Tulsa, OK., and David Lee and wife Cindy Akins of Poteau, OK., and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family members.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 1-6 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at Gracelawn Cemetery Edmond, OK.
