1963 – 2022

Lori Ann Blackburn of Edmond, OK was called home September 3, 2022. She was born December 23, 1963, in Beaver, OK to her parents Ted Guffy and Gayla Wright.

She was employed at Cesar Chavez elementary. Lori loved making a difference in the lives of everyone at her school, in return the students and staff loved her. When Lori was not working, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, Lucky & Miss Kitty, her fur babies, and all of her special friends. She also loved listening to classic rock which included lots of Aerosmith, truly for Steven Tyler. She was so faithful to all of her friends and family. She called everyone she loved to make sure that they were all okay. Plus, we know how amazing her laugh was to all of us.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Jewel and Grandfather Bill, Grandmother Mary, Grandmother Opal, Grandfather Norman, Aunt Paula, Aunt Sherilyn, and Uncle Dennis. Her survivors include mother, Gayla & husband Gerald Wright of Edmond, OK. Her father, Ted and wife Connie Guffy of Canyon, Tx. Son Jeffery Delaney & fiancé Kristen Melton of Anadarko, OK. Daughter Lindsay Beaty and boyfriend Derek Smith of Oklahoma City, OK Daughter Emily and wife Desiree Beaty of Norman, OK. Grandchildren Raegan, Kellen, Kali, Kash, Brynlee, and Journey. Sister Leslie Corlee and friend David Howard of Edmond, OK. Brothers Scott and wife Stacy Wright of Oklahoma City, OK and Clint and Liana Hukill of Amarillo, Tx. A beautiful niece, great niece, and numerous nephews.

Public visitation will be held Thursday, September 8th, 2022, at Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK, from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Family will be present to greet friends and guests on Thursday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 9th, 2022, at Kingfisher Cemetery in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
