Lenetta Jean Jarmon was born on November 11, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to George R. and Eloise P. McGee, and passed away on June 7, 2022 at her home in Edmond, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.  Lenetta graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City and worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 28 years as a service/training representative until she retired in 1998.  Throughout her life, Lenetta had a passion for her faith, painting, traveling, reading and tap dancing.  She was active in her church, Church of the Servant, as a volunteer until the last few months of her life. She tapped with Lynda Tarpley Tappers for 18 years, performing at art festivals and special events.  She was also active in book club, travel club and card club.  Lenetta was a worldwide traveler, visiting many places, including Australia, New Zealand, Paris, Monaco and the British Isles.  Her favorite trips were taken with her family to Santa Fe, New Mexico.  She viewed life and those she encountered with enthusiasm, love and curiosity.  A devoted mother and grandmother, Lenetta never missed a football game, band contest or trip, graduation or special life event.  Lenetta is survived by her sister, Pat Varley of Burleson, Texas, her daughter, Melinda Corpolongo and husband John of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandson, Matthew Corpolongo and wife Katy of Norman, Oklahoma, two nieces, one nephew and many extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to thank Integris Hospice for their comforting care and support.  And special thanks to friends Carolyn, Faye and JoAnn.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Integris Hospice in honor of Lenetta.
