Kennedy T. Etua
Kennedy was born on the 9th of November 1994, in Diche 1-Widikum in Widikum sub-Division in Momo Division of the Northwest region of Cameroon. He was the first child of Etua Mary Ngo and the late Etua Paul Tabit. He attended elementary education in Catholic School Widikum and St. John Catholic school Bamenda. He continued his secondary education in Government High School (GHS) Widikum, where he obtained his Ordinary Level. He furthered his studies in Government Bilingual High School (GBHS) Ntambeng, in Mankon Bamenda, where he had his Advanced Level.
In his quest for more knowledge, he went to HIBUMS Polytechnic University in the city of Bamenda, where he obtained a diploma in banking and management. He also was so passionate about helping others that he decided to walk in his purpose by becoming a pioneer member of an NGO called Egbe Foundation in August 2016, which is now renamed Charity TV. He worked there as a project manager. In 2019, he migrated to the USA, where he met and got married to his wife, Gloria Miller, on January 13th, 2022, in Oklahoma City.
He never liked to see others in pain and treated others the way he would be treated. He loved sharing the little he had. He went to the US with the American Dream, unfortunately he was attacked by liver cancer which finally caused his death on Monday, the 5th of December 2022, in his house, in Oklahoma State, United States of America. He left behind his wife, mother, and stepmother, who are all widows; 3 siblings; 4 step-siblings; and extended family and friends to mourn him.
