Keith Gene Langhofer

1951-2022

Keith Gene Langhofer was borne October 25th, 1951, in Russell Kansas to Loren and Dorothy (Goodhart) Langhofer of Bunker Hill, Kansas.  He is survived by his sister Diane Dykens of Altus, Oklahoma, and his twin brother Kent (Pam) Langhofer, of Weatherford, Texas.  Daughter Dawn (Jason) Lang of Kansas City, Missouri, and son Drew (Heather) Langhofer and granddaughters Natalie and Stella Langhofer.

Keith Graduated from Russell high school in 1969.  He earned an Associates in Arts from Hutchison Community college and went on to graduate from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science.

His career started in the oil and gas industry at Matador Pipelines, a division of Koch Ind.  Keith moved around the country with Koch.  He met the mother of his children in Duncan, Oklahoma.  They moved with Koch from Oklahoma to Texas finally to land in Wichita, Ks.  He joined Koch’s corporate headquarters as the VP of trucking.  Throughout his life Keith played golf and enjoyed fishing.  He loved Grand Lake and time there with his family.  In his later life, his biggest love was his granddaughters Natalie and Stella Langhofer.

    Keith was a wonderful friend at Bunker Hill and Russell. I will always remember the days and nights that my parents played cards with his parents and the kids all played around. Great times.
