Katie Ann Ware
1930-2022
Katie Ann Ware, 91, of Norman, OK passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022.
Katie was born in Clinton, OK and was baptized in the First Christian Church. The church was an integral part of her life where she served as a deacon and choir director for several churches.
Katie graduated from Clinton High School before attending Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. While attending SWOSU, Katie met and married Bill Ware. Katie was a retired classroom teacher having taught in several school districts throughout Oklahoma from 1951 to 1986.
Katie is survived by her son, Bob (Leslie) Ware, and daughter, Anette (Bill) Pretty; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
