Joyce Comer Dedek, 83, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed from this life to the next on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Joyce was born on September 21, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Wylie T. Comer and Bernice Hudson Comer.
Joyce was a faithful member of First Christian Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. Joyce worked as and retired as the Court Administrator for the City of Edmond. She was known for being a good listener, a great cook, and having a beautiful smile. Joyce always had time for others, she was very kind and loving, and enjoyed a good laugh. She loved dogs and cat both. She was loved by many and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Clent Dedek, parents, Wylie T. Comer and Bernice Hudson Comer, and her favorite dog, Jane.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Sandy Owen and husband, Tim of Edmond, Oklahoma, sisters; Linda Woolhether and husband, Mike of Hillsdale, Wyoming, and JoAnn McCoy and husband, HP of Simpsonville, Kentucky, granddaughter, Tiff Gravel, grandson-in-law, Abe Anun of Kampala, Uganda, great granddaughter, Grey Anun, and several friends.
