1928 – 2022
Dellaphine was born to Charles and Alice Johnson on May 25,1928 in Warrens, Wisconsin. One of Dellaphine’ s favorite memories growing up was swimming under the railroad track with her siblings and friends. One year the train instructor even tossed them a bar of soap. Dedicated and hardworking, she enjoyed working inside with her mother and avoided the sun at all costs. She was an amazing woman of faith, loved Jesus and the strongest person you would ever meet. She loved the snow and a great book. Dellaphine adored her daughter Juanita and would do anything to help her family. She was beautiful, kind and giving of her time and treasure. Dellaphine went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2022, surrounded by her loving family and angels guiding her way. Dellaphine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Johnson, late husbands; Ammon Allen and J.W. Brackett, and sisters; Lorraine, Ramona, Mercides, Luella, and Latitia. She is survived by her daughter Juanita Kirkham (Ed) and grandchildren Lyndon (Melissa), Jon, Timothy (Jessica) and Daniel (Julia) and great-grandchildren, Jonna, Holden, Lauren, Austin, McKynzie, Taylor, Jacob, Hannah, Elijah, Samuel, Ollie, Ryker, and beloved by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 10th at Matthews Funeral Home. Private services will be held for family.
