David Michael Burdick
1973 – 2022
David was born in Oklahoma City, Ok. He lived his entire life in the Edmond- Deer Creek area. David attended Deer Creek schools for 12 years. He had as associate degree from OSU Okmulgee in Auto Body Technology. He paid his dues working at some of the best Auto Body Shops in the area.
David and his parents opened ACR, Advanced Collison Repair in Edmond in 2010. David had his ICAR certifications in many aspects of automotive repair and was a Certified Mercedes technician and was well versed at repairing almost everything on the road. Dave had a passion for Jeeps and off-road buggies.
David touched many lives, from his many Deer Creek classmates, bowling buddies, employees, and the local Jeep community. He will be remembered as a guy who would open up his shop to help fellow enthusiast to lend a hand to repair, teach and story swap and learn all he could from this passion.
His friends say his smile, quick wit, comebacks or how he would crack jokes would just lighten the mood in the room. David would help anyone at the drop of a hat, especially anyone with a Jeep. He loved his Jeep Crew, and they were his real family.
David will be sorely missed and not forgotten.
David is survived by his Daughters Hailey Huff of Guthrie Oklahoma, Kylie Graham of Stillwater Oklahoma, his parents Jim and Connie Burdick, Guthrie Ok., his nephews Mason Burdick and Graham Propps of Guthrie. David also has a huge family in the Edmond- Oklahoma City area, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Texas.
David is preceded in death by his infant girl Karley Nichole, his sister Meredith, Grandpa Jim and Grandma Willie Burdick, Grandmother Rosa Scott, and Grandfather Wayne Scantlin.
We have lost a son, father and good friend. David you will always be in our hearts.
Services will be held Saturday February 19th, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, OK.
