1952 – 2021

Daureen Louise (Conner) Brawley, 69, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK with family by her side. She was born January 30, 1952 in Boise City, OK to Kenneth and Patricia (Baker) Conner.

She was raised and attended school in Keyes, OK, graduating with the class of 1970. She attended OPSU in Goodwell, OK for a short while, and eventually moved to Guymon where she lived until moving to Keyes in 1985 to raise her two sons. She married Nat Brawley April 19th, 1991. She will be remembered for her love of family, music, porcelain dolls, Facebook, and animals, especially her favorite dogs, Shadow and Pokey. She was a skilled piano player, singer, and loved going to the lake to fish.

Daureen was a lifelong member of the Keyes United Methodist Church.

She is survived by husband, Nat Brawley, of their home in Keyes, OK; one son, Chris and Amber Wood, Buffalo, OK; five grandchildren, Tanner, Caden, Makynna, and Kristyn Wood, Buffalo, OK, and Ava Brawley, Cashion, OK; one great-granddaughter, Baylee Wood, Buffalo, OK and one great-grandson on the way; three brothers, Kevin and Stacey Conner, Keyes, OK; Kendall and Rhonda Conner, Prosper, TX; Kirk and Cindy Conner, Keyes, OK, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws too numerous to list, other family members, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Brandon Kirk Brawley.

Daureen was a loving and caring person. Her final act was to give the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:00pm at the United Methodist Church in Keyes, OK. Interment will follow at a later date.
