Herbert Laverne Fulton, 79, of Edmond, OK, was born in Muscatine, IA on Friday, July 28, 1933 in the family home. He went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, July 8, 2013. He is survived by his wife Lorna, of 60 wonderful years; daughter Diane Hearn & husband G. Taze of Edmond; son David & wife Jenelle of Derby, KS; two grandchildren & one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 13th with interment to follow at Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, OK.

You fought a courageous battle but God had other plans for you. You will be dearly missed.
I know that you are looking down on your family telling them that they will see you again, do not despair. Lorna, Diane, & David, your dad was a wonderful man and he is in a better place and is no longer in pain. I pray for you and the family and send you my love.

I am still on planet Earth but I lost my wife, Ardene, to cancer 29 March 2022. We were in the 1963 School of Electrical Engineering graduating class at Oklahoma State University and studied together. I later learned Carol Laverne Morris, Miss America 1956 and Miss Universe 1956 is my Mom’s 3rd Cousin. She now lives in Houston, Texas. Gordon Shaw Roberts, Beavercreek, Ohio.
